Building Influence at a Distance

Changing corporate culture to be more customer-centric is difficult. It requires many individual interactions across a company. How personal mindset and the stories you tell yourself influence your actions and others. I'll also talk about my personal career path, which started as a designer. I then became a manager/design director, then I became an individual contributor and user researcher.
I am a design leader, researcher, and workshop facilitator for large-scale, culture-changing, company-wide initiatives. I facilitate product discovery at PayPal to assist teams in solving complex problems that enable customers to participate fully in the global economy. I'm a designer, who became a manager and then returned to being an individual contributor.
