Speaker Bio
Hello! I am currently the Director of Product design at Flatiron Health, where I've spent the last five years leading teams to support our mission of accelerating cancer research. Currently, my team is focusing on developing products and services to help cancer researchers leverage real-world data to answer some of the most important questions in oncology. Some of the work my team and I have done in the past include: point-of-care tools to help oncologists provide evidence-based care to the patients, helping health systems understand the quality of care at their institution, and leveraging Flatiron’s technology to help bring clinical trial opportunities to more patients across our network. I am passionate about healthcare, health equity, and bringing user-centered processes to an industry that has been underserved. Prior to this role, I was at the Washington Post, building new products and internal tools, and at Adaptly, building software to help big brands spend more money for your eyeballs. I also spent time serving as the ‘17-’20 Director of Asian American Journalists Association’s Voices, a college journalism training program. The experience I've had training these students were the stepping stones to my management style today.
